A mountain of 200,000 boxes of condoms formed the backdrop for Diesel’s fall-winter show at Milan Fashion Week this Wednesday.
“We love playing at Diesel and we take it seriously,” creative director Glenn Martens said in a statement. “Have fun, respect each other, stay safe.”
The parade featured themed pieces, such as a T-shirt featuring the famous “D” from the Diesel logo in the word “Durex” on the condom packaging of the eponymous brand.
After the parade, the brand said it will distribute 300,000 condoms in its stores worldwide.
The collection explored themes of freedom, pleasure and experimentation, with models walking around a mountain of condoms in low-rise jeans or sheer lace. The techno that accompanied the presentation was interrupted by the sound of moans.
