A DJI has launched a new drone, developed with professional image recording in mind for cinema or other audiovisual productions. With a price also adapted to demanding professional needs, 15,250 euros, the Inspire 3 records image in 8k full frame and integrate a Zenmuse X9-8K Air Gimbal Camera, compatible with different types of lenses. It also allows 4k slow motion recording at 120 fps without cropping and thanks to the native dual ISO system it is prepared for shooting in low light environments.
there is one FPV (First Person View) camera with an ultra-wide field of view of 161 degrees and night vision, which can capture video in various formats, such as CinemaDNG or Apple ProRes RAW.
The equipment’s flight control system is optimized for more precise flights and greater stability. A system of omni-directional trackingsupported by about a dozen sensors, which help to detect and avoid obstacles, following an automatic or manual configuration, for better adaptation to the needs of use. A D-RTK2 Mobile technology refines positioning accuracy and the two antennas on top of the drone ensure low levels of magnetic interference.
make use of DJI O3 Pro Transmission and Control Systeman evolution of OcuSync 3.0, which allows you to connect two controllers. It offers a range of up to 15 kilometers operating with just one operator, or up to 12 km in dual control mode – when there is one person controlling the drone and another just looking after the camera.
The Inspire 3 features a smart dual battery systemTB51, for a autonomy up to 28 minutes of flight time and speeds up to 58.4 mph. It weighs about four kilos and has an external SSD system with a storage capacity of up to 1TB.
Oh drone will be offered for sale in June. It will succeed the Inspire 2, which was launched by the brand seven years ago.
