After ChatGPT's rapid rise in popularity, Musk advocated for regulation of this technology. At the time, he signed an open letter that sought to encourage tech company leaders to take a six-month break in their development.
With this new company, Elon Musk should aim to create an alternative to OpenAI's ChatGPT and thus win his share in this market. He will reportedly have already spoken to Tesla and SpaceX investors to put money into his new venture.
