The mayor of Porto, Portugal received the directors from Jundiai

The mission promoted by the National Front of Mayors (FNP) in Portugal has ended. This Friday (14th), managers José Antonio Parimoshi (Government and Finance) and Cristiano López (Economic Development) were in the city of Porto, where they were welcomed by Mayor Rui Moreira and visited Porto Digital’s Innovation Hub to talk about economic issues. The Porto Digital Innovation Hub is an important tool to encourage social and economic development, retaining top talent in the region as well as working in the city. The agenda also included a visit to the Integrated Management Center (CGI), which brings together multiple services in one place with integrated governance. Jundiaí follows the same path with the Security and Emergency and Emergency Center, where GM, SAMU/SAEC, Civil Defence, Traffic and Transport will operate.

“All these experiences will help us to move forward with the deliveries foreseen in the Government Plan of Mayor Luiz Fernando Machado for 2023 and 2024 and provide substantial improvements in the available public services”, commented Parimoshi.

“The search for economic development combined with social development is a constant practice in Jundia. The visit to the Porto Digital Innovation Hub and the exchange of experiences with international leaders were very important for us to intensify these practices”, assesses Cristiano.

For CIJUN (Companhia de Informática de Jundiaí), CEO of Amauri Marquezi, the search for innovation is a tonic followed by Jundiaí, which offers digital services such as the Jundiaí APP, observatory, childhood alert system, among many others. “Intensive use of technology helps the development of the city and the experiences gained in this mission will bring more innovation to the city”, he reports.

The mission to Portugal started on Monday (10th) and also visited the cities of Matosinhos, Guimarães, Braga and Aveiro. The visit, which brought together international leaders from around the world, is part of the government’s inception of Jundia’s internationalization strategy.
